It is usually a thing of joy when one's kid is progressing educationally and otherwise. The former wife of musician 9ice Toni Payne took to expressing her happiness as the son she has for the singer is set to move on to his secondary education. In her thanksgiving, however, there was a slight undertone that insinuates that she is self-parenting.
The beautiful Toni Payne took to her Twitter page to express her joy in full measure. Her words which were very emotional showed that she was very happy for having come thus far with her son whose name is Zion.
According to her, she could not believe that her son was already going to be a secondary school student. The rate at which time flew and kids grew amazed her greatly.
Underlying her words, Toni Payne hinted that she has been the one responsible for the upkeep of the boy. In thanking God for her son, she said some indigenous words - 'Adanikan gbe' - which translates to the fact that she is the only one bearing the burden that comes with meeting the needs of the child.

Toni Payne also thanked God for making this 'burden' easy for her to bear. Then she went ahead to say that although she might be single parenting, her home and life with the boy is easy and peaceful.
