Manchester United committed a huge blunder after posting a message from a fan that was furiously directed at Jose Mourinho on their website.

The explicit tweet which read "Mourinho can f*** off out of my club" was mistakenly displayed on the site while the club were updating their live blog during United's 2-2 draw with Southampton.

The message was initially praising Marcus Rashford's performance for providing two assists that brought United level in the first half.

Mourinho has come under immense pressure after his side are now eight points off the Premier League top-four.

United have only managed six wins in 14 matches and are now on a minus one goal difference as they remain in seventh position.

British news media outlet Times believe the Twitter user could have seen his tweet on the live blog and then changed the name of his handle to air his views.

Mourinho could also be disciplined by the club's management for accusing Paul Pogba of being a virus who is infecting his team.

The France international launched an assault in-front of his own team-mates following the draw.

And an inside source revealed “Jose called Pogba a virus in front of all the players.

“He told him ‘you are like a person with a flu with a virus in a closed room - you pass that virus to the others.'

“He also told him ‘you don’t play, you don't respect players and supporters and you kill the mentality of good, honest people around you.'”
