Family, friends and colleagues have at one time in their lives lost someone close to them due to sickle cell anemia. Sickle cell patients have a record of not having a long life span, some are lucky to reach the age of 50 while others die very young.
A young lady identified as kinder (@NabeelarhA) has taken to Twitter to share beautiful pictures of her best friend, who died on Saturday, December 1, after years of battling sickle cell anemia.
She described the deceased as someone who was full of life and ever smiling. She added that her late friend made sure she enjoyed life.

The Twitter user also shared a screenshot of her Instagram post which reads: “I think about our sweet memories and a tear drops from my eyes. Life has been the best it can be, the blend of sweet and sour and having to experience all this with you is the best feeling ever. I love you so much my friend, my sister and I can’t stop loving you. May your soul Rest In Peace best friend. You’re gone but not forgotten. We miss you baby.”

Legit.ng earlier reported that celebrated Nigerian on-air personality Tosyn Bucknor died on Monday night, November 15. Her sister Funke Bucknor confirmed her demise and revealed late Tosyn died from sickle cell complications.
