Former Premier League footballer, Rio Ferdinand, arrived in Lagos on Thursday night, November 29, on a 3-day visit as he works with Guinness to experience the passion of Nigeria’s football fans.
The Man United legend joined local football teams as part of a coaching clinic and met fans/competition winners at the Guinness Africa stadium viewing centre event.
He also visited the Guinness Flavour Rooms for a full immersion in the incredible Guinness.

But one of the highlights of Ferdinand's visit was his walk on the streets of Lagos which sparked a parade from adoring fans.
As he made his way through the streets, he shared a video on Twitter of the jubilant fans.

Ferdinand captioned the post: "Walking the streets in Nigeria... unreal scenes! Blessed #FansMadeOfMore #Nigeria."
Speaking of his visit, Managing Director of Guinness Nigeria Baker Magunda said: "Guinness is a bold beer for extraordinary people.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Ferdinand arrived Nigeria on a three-day visit from Thursday, November 29, to Sunday, December 2.
The former Champions League winner touched down at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja, Lagos and got a rousing welcome from fans.
