- Malcolm agrees to join Barcelona after reversing decision to join Roma
- The Spanish club have agreed a €41m fee for the 21-year-old Brazilian
- The striker scored 12 goals for Bordeaux in all competitions last season
Barcelona agree €41m move for Bordeaux striker Malcolm after hijacking Roma deal, Goal reports.
The talented Brazilian was set to fly to Italy to complete his move to the Giallorossi, only for the Catalan giants to step in and make a bid of their own
Roma had confirmed on Monday that they had reached an agreement to bring the 21-year-old to the Stadio Olympico for a fee of €38m (£34m/$44m).
The player was expected to arrive in Rome on Tuesday to undergo a medical and complete the move but made a U-turn.

And a deal with La Liga champions has now been agreed, with Malcolm set to sign a five-year contract at the Nou Camp.
Ernesto Valverde wants to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season and Barca have been on the heels of Chelsea's Willian.
However Malcom became their primary target after a remarkable campaign in France where he scored 12 goals and made eight assists in all competitions.
The youngster had previously attracted interest from two English sides, Arsenal and Tottenham, during the January transfer window.

Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Inter and Paris Saint-Germain have also made their interest known while Everton made a bid this summer, only to be beaten to a deal by Roma.
Malcolm will now become Barcelona's third signing of the summer window following the arrival of Arthur Melo and Clement Lenglet from this summer.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Chelsea are not eager to sell star midfielder Willian to Barcelona unless the Spanish champions splash out a massive £70m for the Brazilian.
The West London outfit have turned down a third offer of £55m for Willian as they want more cash from the Spanish side.
