The chief of air staff, air marshal Saddique Abubakar said the leadership of the Nigeria Air Force and other service chiefs would continue to work together to end the killings and other criminal activities in different parts of the country.
Abubakar made this pledge in Ilorin, Kwara state on Thursday, July 6, during the official commissioning of a 30x1 staff quarters built by the air force for the men and officers of the 303 Medium Airlift, Nigeria Air Force, Ilorin.
According to him, “the leadership of the air force and other leaders of the nation’s security agencies would leave no stone unturned at achieving this pledge so as to bring peace and development to the people of the country.”

Abubakar, who was represented at the event by the chief of administration of Nigeria Air Force, AVM J.
Yahaya, added that “in checking the spate of killings in different parts of the country, the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) has taken action to further upgrade its force structure to better position it to deal decisively with the challenge.”

On the commissioning of the staff quarters, Abubakar said the development would go a long way to boost the welfare of the men of the Air force in the country.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that the chief of army staff lieutenant general Tukur Yusuf Buratai blamed on the security crisis in Plateau, Zamfara, Benue and Taraba states on internal and external forces declared that many forces are against Nigeria.
Buratai said “The current crisis in Plateau, Benue, Taraba and Zamfara states are both induced by internally and externally.
“So many forces are against Nigeria; the target is the corporate existence of Nigeria as a country,” he said, warning that the blame game along ethnic and religious fault lines is not the solution.
