Brazil who are five time world champions have arrived Russia on Monday, June 11, for their campaign in the 2018 FIFA World Cup which will start on Thursday, June 14.

The Brazilians landed in the early hours in Sochi which is the Black Sea resort where they will be based as they beat Austria 3-0 in their final warm-up match.

Paris-Saint-Germain star Neymar, Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus and Barcelona man Philippe Coutinho scored the three goals for Brazil before they flew to Russia.

Brazil who crashed out of the last World Cup on home soil in a humiliating 7-1 defeat to Germany start their campaign against Switzerland in Rostov-on-Don on Sunday.

After recovering from injury, Neymar is expected to lead Brazil attack in Russia for the 2018 World Cup tournament.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Paris-Saint-Germain superstar Neymar stated clearly that he is 80 percent fit for his country Brazil ahead of the 2018 World Cup tournament in Russia.

After being out of action for four months, Neymar made a return to the pitch on Sunday, June 3, and the ex Barcelona star scored as Brazil defeated Croatia 2-0 in a friendly game.

The 26-year-old missed much of the second-half of last season as a result of the problem sustained during Paris Saint-Germain’s League win over Marseille.
