Chelsea star player Eden Hazard has insisted he does not see himself in the same level with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The Belgium captain insisted he is not ambitious in becoming like the Real Madrid and Barcelona superstars respectively.

He explained to SFR Sport: "I have already answered a lot of times. I think I'm not at their level.

"They score and make the difference every weekend, not me. I can be a bit like that at times, but I still miss the regularity that makes the difference at the highest level and in big matches.

"I try to work. It's the journalists who compare me to them. But I am me. I'm trying to be Eden Hazard as I've been doing for 10 years."

Hazard has been tipped as one the players to take over from the pair when their they are no more at their best.

The 27-year-old have been heavily linked to join Ronaldo at the Bernabeu next season for a record fee.

The former Lille midfielder is yet to commit his future to Chelsea and the Blues have faint hopes to finish in Premier League top four.

The London club are struggling this season and after their loss to Tottenham they have now and then a draw to West Ham have now seen them slipped further from the Champions League spot.

Chelsea will be aiming to win a silverware this season as they face Southampton whom they defeated at Saint Mary's by 3-2 in the FA Cup semi finals.
