Atiku reveals where rescued Chibok girls are in Nigeria

- Atiku Abubakar, former vice-president, has disclosed where Chibok school girls who recently escaped from Boko Haram captivity are in Nigeria

- Abubakar said the girls are currently studying at the American University of Nigeria (AUN)

- He noted that some of them are Accounting, Law, Computer Science and Journalism students

Atiku Abubakar, former vice-president, has disclosed that the Chibok school girls who escaped from Boko Haram captivity, have been enrolled at the American University of Nigeria (AUN).

NAIJ.com gathered that the university was founded by Atiku and it is located in Yola, the capital of Adamawa state

Reports have it that Atiku noted that the girls have been @AUNigeria for 3 years.

He said the girls have been enrolled in Pre-med, Accounting, Law, Computer Science and Journalism in the institution.

According to him, ''The lucky #ChibokGirls who escaped Boko Haram have been with us at@AUNigeria for 3 years. A joyful anniversary for all of us.

''The new foundation school was setup specially to help the girls meet admission standards – so far, 8 have been enrolled in@AUNigeria.

“The students are enrolled in Pre-med, Accounting, Law, Computer Science and Journalism respectively. We celebrate their courage today,” he tweeted via his official account''.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that Abubakar called on President Muhammadu Buhari to fulfil his election campaign promises to Nigerians about the girls.
