"Good afternoon sir/madam, I am one of the 14 Kano state sponsored medical students who are studying MBBS in India. It is almost getting to 2 years now without receiving any penny from the government that ought to shoulder 100% of our responsibilities while staying in India," the statement sent to Legit.ng read.
Going further, the accuser wrote: "We tried to complete our studies in such a miserable situation they put us into, yet the school authority vows to not issue us certificates due to some N22 million outstanding debt( for all the 14 medical students ) which the government owes the school authority.
"We have contacted everyone about the issue right from deputy governor till the least person in the government seat but to no avail.

"We are all medical doctors with no certificates, we are sons and daughters of no one.If the government won't pay, does it mean that we have wasted the time we spent studying? If they don't want us to be productive, is the Kano government forcing us to become terrorists holding guns and be killing people?
"Please we need your urgent help and response as we have no other option than to go for media. And we have all the proves and evidences that you may require from us."
