The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said the party never suspended or expelled any member of the party in Ekiti state, or has the state chapter informed it of such development.
Kola Ologbondiya, the national publicity secretary and director of publicity, made this known in a statement he issued in Abuja on Monday, January 4, Tribune reports

The PDP presidential campaign organisation also buttressed the statement as it added that no member of the party in the state was placed on suspension by any arm of the party at whatever level.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state has dedicated his victory at the election tribunal to the state's residents.
The governor said the judgment is a re-affirmation of the wishes of the vast majority of Ekiti people, and also urged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kolapo Olusola, to join hands with him and the rest of Ekiti people in taking the state to the next level of development and prosperity.

Legit.ng also reported that PDP expressed confidence that Monday, January 28, judgment of the elections petitions tribunal which affirmed the victory of Governor Kayode Fayemi at the July 14, 2018 Ekiti governorship election would be overturned at the Court of Appeal.
The party said this in a statement issued by its national publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, on Monday, January 28 in Abuja, in reaction to the tribunal judgment that affirmed the victory of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Kayode Fayemi, at the poll.
