The suspected members of the Boko Haram sect are reportedly attacking a community in Michika local government area of Adamawa state.
The Cable reports that a source disclosed that the insurgents stormed the town at night.
Legit.ng gathered that Buba Marwa, a former military administrator of Lagos state, is from the town.

It was gathered that the incident happened after Marwa led 13 major generals, eight air vice marshals, two rear admirals, 11 brigadier-generals, nine air commodores, eight commodores and 17 former military administrators — all retired, to Aso Rock to endorse President Muhammadu Buhari.
Marwa, who currently heads the presidential advisory committee on the elimination of drug abuse in the country, said if Buhari had failed in his duties, they would not have endorsed him.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that the Nigerian Army on Sunday, February 3, said its troops successfully foiled an attack and killed four Boko Haram insurgents at Malumfatori community in Abadam local government area of Borno.
Colonel Onyema Nwachukwu, deputy director, Army public relations, Operation LAFIYA DOLE, made the disclosure in a statement in Maiduguri. Nwachukwu disclosed that gallant troops of the 118 and 119 Battalions engaged the insurgents when they attempted to attack the border community on Saturday night.
