He said: “There is no alternative to President Buhari in the coming election. Therefore, in order to consolidate on the gains made so far, Nigerians should massively vote President Buhari.''

Shuaibu said the organisation, which kick-started its road show from Lagos state, had been to Edo and Zamfara, adding that its next road show would be Kano state.

The coordinator said: “Everywhere we went, we enlightened those at the grassroots and the general public on the need to re-elect President Buhari for a second term based on his good works and resounding achievements.

“While in Lagos, Edo and Zamfara, the Forward with Buhari campaign organisation embarked on intense road shows, stopping at various strategic points, including markets.

“We also stopped at event centres to interact with the people and distribute campaign items.

”We also showcased verifiable achievements of the current administration and President Buhari as the most viable option among the presidential candidates.”

According to Shuaibu, the organisation intends to tour the entire six geopolitical zones before the presidential election slated for February 16.

The organisation was initiated by the governor of Zamfara, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari, who is the chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF).

The organisation comprises mostly of youths, mobilisers, sensitisers and grassroots canvassers.
