Legit.ng gathers that the former commissioner also expressed confidence that due his closeness to the electorate, he would defeat Barrister Obafemi Adewale, the PDP candidate, with a wide margin.
He said that as a member of the House of Representatives between 2011 and 2015, he attracted 89 landmark projects to some towns in Ekiti; stating that the feat endeared him to the populace.
Bamidele implored APC candidates in the state and beyond to propagate President Muhammadu Buhari’s scorecard in the anti-corruption fight, decimation of insurgents and diversification of the economy.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Nigeria’s transport minister, Rotimi Amaechi, said the PDP can only defeat his party, the APC, when it comes to corruption scorecard.
Speaking at a rally in Adamawa state, Amaechi, who serves as the director general of the Presidential Campaign Council of the APC, challenged the PDP to show its plans for Nigerians ahead of the general elections.
“This election is between two parties that have been in power. We challenge PDP to an open debate where the masses will be present. Let them show their scorecard and we will show our own too. The only place they will beat us is in corruption," he said.
