Cristiano Ronaldo's partner Georgina Rodriguez lost her father, Jorge Eduardo Rodriguez Gorjon, at the age of 70 after a long battle with illness in Argentina.
Rodriguez posted a birthday photo on her Instagram handle earlier this week from Buenos Aires and wrote: "Coincidences of life. I land in the country I was born in at the same time and the day of my birth 25 years ago."
According to The Sun, the 25-year-old's father was convicted for drug trafficking offences and was kicked out of Spain in 2013 and was banned after serving a ten-year jail term.

A Spanish celebrity magazine outfit Hola, reported Rodriguez traveled to her native country Argentina following the death of her father.
It is understood Eduardo suffered from health complications related to a stroke he had been nursing two-and-a-half years ago.
A statement about Eduardo's death is yet to made from Ronaldo's agency Gestifute.

Fans of the Juventus striker and his partner, who gave birth to their one-year-old daughter Alana Martina in November 2016, have taken to social media to offer their condolences.
One, writing on the Instagram page of Georgina’s sister Ivana, said: “My sincere condolences.
“I hope you find comfort in God. I am very sad for you. Be strong. We are all with you.”
Another messaged Georgina to say: “I am very sorry for your loss. We are thinking of you.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported Cristiano Ronaldo showed sympathy to a female Juventus fan after his shot left her with an injured nose and a broken glasses before their Serie A match with Chievo Verona this month.
According to the Mirror report, Ronaldo’s shot at the Allianz Stadium, went into the stands and injured Elene Di Martino.
