Some count only the parties that have existed for many years and officially registered political parties in Nigeria, others also add newly registered parties. There has never been a time in the whole history of Nigeria when there was as many parties as there are now. The list of today’s parties includes a lot of names and logos, and all of them are supposed to have their effect on the political life in the country.
