Juventus make urgent decision on star striker wanted by Chelsea

- Chelsea have been hit with a blow on the transfer of Argentine footballer Gonzalo Higuain

- The Blues' gaffer Maurizio Sarri is planning to sign the striker this month

- But Juventus have made it clear that they are not interested in the deal

Reigning Italian champions Juventus have ruled out the possibility of them selling Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain during the ongoing January 2019 transfer window.

The 31-year-old forward has since last year being a target for Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri as they both had smooth working relationship together at Napoli.

According to the report on Tribal, talks have been held between Chelsea chiefs and Juventus on Gonzalo Higuain who is currently playing for AC Milan on loan.

But the Italian club are not ready to do any business with the Premier League giants.

"He remains one of the best strikers in the world, he showed it in these seasons in Europe, he scored everywhere.

"About his future, I think he's important for AC Milan, he's a great striker and they want to keep him.

"I know very well Gonzalo, he is a simple and passionate guy who lives every situation with great enthusiasm. It can happen even to the best players not to score for four or five games." Juventus director Paratici explained.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Premier League giants Chelsea reportedly given up on striker Alvaro Morata and the Blues are ready to go for the signing of Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain in January.

Chelsea gaffer Maurizio Sarri is said to be interested in bringing Gonzalo Higuain to Stamford Bridge when the January transfer window opens.
