- Jimi Agbaje of PDP has challenged APC's Babajide Sanwo-Olu to show his achievements as a commissioner
- Agba also alleged that both Sanwo-Olu and his paymasters have enslaved Lagos for decades because of their personal benefits
- He also noted the sorry state of Lagos, adding that the state, under APC, has become a centre for corruption and waste
Lagos state gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Jimi Agbaje, has attacked the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in what seems to be a media war with less than three months to the 2019 general elections.
In a report available in the Punch, Agbaje, in a statement by his media aide, Felix Oboagwina, described the promises of the APC candidate as spurious lies flying in the face of facts.
Legit.ng gathers that the PDP candidate also challenged Sanwo-Olu, and called him out to show his achievements when he was a commissioner and now a managing director of housing corporation in the state.

Earlier, Sanwo-Olu, at a campaign, had promise to restore the glory of Lagos and run an all-inclusive government.
But in a reaction to the promise, Agbaje called on Lagosians not to expect any miracle from someone he called a loyalist of paymasters.
He said: "That is Sanwo-Olu admitting to what everyone knows already; that he and his paymasters are guilty of misgovernment; and for most of two decades, they have enslaved the state for purely selfish benefits. But Lagosians cannot be fooled and they know that these leopards cannot change their spots.”
Agbaje also noted that Lagos, under the administration of APC, has become the second worst state for living according to Global Liveability Index.
He attributed the report to corruption and government of massive ineptitude run by the APC-led government in the state.
He said: “Lagos state was just in the 2018 Global Liveability Index as the second worst city for humans to live in the world.
“And this is no thanks to its waste disposal mismanagement, traffic logjams, incessant flooding, insecurity, double taxation, impunity, lawlessness, godfatherism, corruption and abandoned projects.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had said its governorship candidate for the forthcoming general elections, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was ready and prepared to lead the state in 2019.
This was coming after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) referred to Sanwo-Olu as an emergency candidate that was unprepared for the job.
