The pair of football’s greatest stars, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will be among football buffs at the Copa Libertadores final between River Plate and Boca Juniors at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday, December 9.
The interesting match up will see two Argentina’s famous club sides in action, and It will be the first time Ronaldo will be returning to his former base before sealing a move to Serie A giants, Juventus last summer.
According to AS report, Los Blancos president Florentino Pérez has concluded plans to offer Ronaldo and Messi a special seat at the presidential box, in appreciation of their contributions to the game in the past 20 years.

Interestingly, Messi’s Barcelona will battle city rivals Espanyol in LaLiga fixture on Saturday, giving the Argentine an opening to travel to the Spanish capital on Sunday,
On the other hand, Ronaldo’s Juventus will trade Inter Milan in Serie A fixture on Friday – thus creating a window, for the Portuguese star to spend the weekend in Madrid.

The report further revealed that Messi personally requested for match tickets from the Spanish football federation-RFEF, while Ronaldo got across to Real Madrid officials, to help secure match tickets no thanks to the high demand from players and managers in Spain and beyond.
