A happy marriage is a beautiful thing, and ladies hope to walk down the aisle with the love of their lives before their biological clock starts ticking. However, some ladies do not have it easy finding love and it takes them a while to settle down.

In Nigerian families, it is quite common for some members to ask intrusive questions pertaining to marriage from unmarried ladies in their home. This leads to single ladies getting defensive in their bid to not appear desperate as well as to ward off pressures.

A Nigerian lady, Nwunye chairman, identified on Twitter as @Amyjenny68, took to her page to share the epic response she gave her aunt for reminding her to get married.

According to her tweet, her aunt called to wish her a happy new month and she also used the opportunity to tell her to get married. This obviously got on Nwunye’s wrong side and she made sure to give her an unforgettable response.

Nwunye told her aunt she was taking her time before walking down the aisle because she did not want to end up like her daughter whose husband is known to beat her.

She further tweeted that other family members started to call her after getting wind of what happened but she wasn't concerned.

As expected, Nwunye eventually apologised to her aunt, but she was glad she got her message across. She also revealed that her harsh response was because she needed her family members to stop pressuring her to get married.
