- Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has restated his support for President Buhari ahead of 2019 election

National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, November 27, restated the support of south west for President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of general elections.
The Nation reports Tinubu made this known after the swearing in of Chief Gboyega Oyetola as the new governor of Osun state.
According to him, “We are solidly behind President Buhari. No shaking. We are not going back to the past years of greed. There is no room for any other party in the south west.”

The national leader leader of the party said if the PDP government laid a good foundation, there would have been no need for the rebuilding programmes by the Buhari administration.
He, however, saluted the new governor and urged him to build on the achievements of his predecessor.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that the national leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, met the Osun state governor-elect, Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, hours after he was declared winner by the INEC.
Oyetola was officially introduced to Tinubu by the out-going governor of Osun state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on Friday, September 28.

In his official twitter page, Aregbesola, wrote: "In the APC, we stand with our own through to the very end. Our leader, @AsiwajuTinubu was officially introduced to the Governor-elect of the state of Osun, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola."
