Former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has condemned the release and circulation of a fake version of his new book titled My Transition Hours.
Jonathan expressed shock that people stop at no length to show how mischievous and evil they are. In his reaction to the development, the former president said that the original piece has 194 pages, while the fake version was dubiously stretched to 254 in pagination.
He said: "The alleged copy of my book, My Transition Hours, now circulating online is fake. It is the work of mischievous persons who have a wicked agenda.
"If you buy a copy of my book, you will note that it has only 194 pages, whereas this strange book has 254 pages.
"I am shocked at the extent people go to cause calumny. For those interested in reading my memoirs, you may get it here. GEJ."

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported that Jonathan had reportedly expressed displeasure over the alleged hijack of his new book titled My Transition Hours by pirates.
Legit.ng gathered that soft copies of the new book had been shared several times on social media especially WhatsApp.
A scan through the book online, which is in Portable Document Format (PDF), shows that the book had been edited with some inaccurate information while some vital information contained in the real book has been expunged.
The virtual copy has 254 pages while the real book is 194 pages. Some chapters are also missing from the online version which Jonathan’s camp claim is fake.
