Manchester United have been told to cough out more than £53million for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
The Red Devils will have to up their bid to sign the Slovakian star who has been tagged one of the best center-backs in Serie A.
And the 23-year-old has been on the radar of top European clubs but Jose Mourinho is said to be interested in the center-half.

Skriniar contributed immensely to Inter's return to the Champions League, playing every minute in their Serie A campaign last season.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Mourinho is considering making a move for the defender in the January window.
But Inter are not ready to let go as the club are lining up a bumping deal for Slovak international according to his agent Karol Csonto.

He told Tuttomercatoweb: "We're talking about it. We're working on it.
"It's a subject we'll be facing more intensively over the next few months.
"He is happy with the Nerazzurri shirt, he is playing well, but he is aware there are some difficulties in Serie A."
Inter are tending towards Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen should Skriniar eventually leaves for Old Trafford.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim Barcelona and Real Madrid have also been linked with the defender and United will need to put out a world-record breaking £75million.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Real Sociedad star Adnan Januzaj has blamed Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho for his premature ending at Old Trafford.
The Belgium international believes he is still good enough to feature for the Red Devils after bursting into the scene under former United manager David Moyes.
