German champions Bayern Munich are believed to have beaten two Premier League sides to sign Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
Liverpool and Chelsea are also in the running to sign the Welshman whose deal at the Emirates expires at the end of the season.
But according to Independent, Bayern have won the race to sign the 27-year-old who was told by Unai Emery his services are no longer needed with the Gunners.

The former Cardiff City midfielder is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club in the January window.
And the deal is said to be similar to that of Leon Goretzka, who moved to Bayern from Schalke on a free transfer in the summer, signing a four-year contract.
Now the Allianz Arena outfit believe they are in pole position to land the midfielder in Germany next summer.

During Ramsey's 10-year spell at Arsenal, he scored the winning goal in two FA Cup finals and won their player of the season award twice, including last season.
The news will come as a big boost to Bayern who have lost three league matches already this season including the 3-2 loss to Borussia Dortmund.
The Bavarians are now seven points behind league leaders Dortmund as they continue their stuttering start to the new campaign under Niko Kovac.
