Manchester City star David Silva has hinted he would fancy a move away from the English topflight and join Spanish side Las Palmas in 2020.
According to a UK Sun report, the 32-year-old midfielder prefers his baby boy Mateo to spend his formative years in his motherland of Gran Canaria.
Interestingly, Las Palmas were relegated from Spanish topflight last campaign, but Silva’s main concern heading home is more of family reason than football.

During Mateo’s battle for life after arriving after 15 weeks prematurely last December, the Spaniard was frequently flying back and forth to Valencia, and reportedly revealed he was scared of losing his son.
At the last count, while Mateo and mum remained in the hospital, Silva found it tough to sleep and could hardly eat as well.
"For City (I want to play for) two more seasons — what’s left on my contract.
"After that, I don’t know. It depends on how I feel physically and mentally. I’ve always said that I’d like to play for Las Palmas — my local team.
"But we’ll see how things go in two years and take it all from there.
"I’d like him [Mateo] to grow up where I’m from.
"That’s where I was brought up and I really hope he can have the same opportunities as I’ve had.
"I hope he likes sports and if he gets into football we’ll help him,” added Silva, who remains keen to return home away from the hassles of the English Premier League.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made it clear that he wants to end his coaching career at current Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona.
The 47-year-old Spanish professional football coach was in charge of Barcelona between the year of 2008 and 2012 where he won many trophies for the Catalan club.
Last two seasons, Pep Guardiola joined Manchester City from Bayern Munich, but he had to wait till his second term before winning the Premier League title.
