Popular Nigerian musician Tiwa Savage had earlier shared her thoughts on feminism and not everyone agreed with her.

A fan identified as @GbemmyG took to her Twitter page to share why she is disappointed in Tiwa for revealing her own thoughts on feminism.

According to her, Tiwa is too beautiful and talented to be subservient to any man adding that there is no need to try and change her thoughts.

See her posts below:

“Just listened to Tiwa Savage on Soundcity radio say she doesn’t get the motive behind feminism and she doesn’t think she identifies as one. She believes in the house even if you make whatever you make you are not equals with your partner.

This is where it gets funny that she wishes for equality at the workplace and maybe female artistes earn as much as their male counterparts but she doesn’t get the idea feminism. She talks about the pay gap and how she can’t charge as much as maybe a Wizkid.

That though female artistes spend more on makeup, stylists etc more than the male artistes they can’t charge as much. She however doesn’t get the motive behind feminism and the man must always remain the head and their can’t be equals in the family.

She’s too beautiful and talented to think she has to be subservient like this. She even said the ‘you must submit to the man’ cos it’s what God says. Stress.

She said she got backlash the last time she said something like this and her opinion hasn’t changed. So sis is gone. No need.”

This is coming after veteran musician Duncan Mighty was seen in a recent video prostrating for famous singer Davido.
