Senator Cyrus Nunieh, a Nigerian man who caused a stir on social media in 2017, after he tied the knot with a young lady in Rivers state, has passed away.

The 87-year-old man married his heartthrob Rosemary Ijeoma on October 17, 2017. NAIJ.com had reported that Nigerians were happy to see that the old mad had taken a leap of faith to fall in love.

In many of their wedding photos, the deceased looked very happy to be tying the knot with his young bride.

Nunieh, who was a lawyer and former lawmaker, was also the first senator and legal practitioner in Ogoniland. His death was announced by the national executive council of Ogoni Youth Federation.
