- 14-year-old runs for governor in the United States

- The teenager wishes to become the governor of Vermont

At a time when teenagers are fixated on games, social media, YouTube, homework and chasing childhood relationships, 14-year-old Ethan Sonneborn has decided to run for the governor of Vermont in the United States.

The teenager took advantage of a loophole in the constitution of the state of Vermont. The constitution states that their is no age limit on running for governor, and this is want the 14-year-old is riding.

For many kids this might have been a joke or dream they wish to achieve in the future, but for Sonneborn, it is a goal he wants to achieve at the moment. He is running with an idea that proclaims him the champion of middle and working class families.

Meanwhile, it seems like everyone is not in support of the teenager's courage, despite the fact that he has been lauded for his maturity.

Governor Phil Scott of Vermont said: "I think we should probably take a look at that to be perfectly honest. I think you should at least be able to get your driver's license at the time that you become governor."
