Top 15 deals that were sealed before deadline day in England

The transfer window has been buzzing with speculation and rumors about players moving in and out clubs this summer.

This week have witnessed top stars making switches to their preferred destination as the deadline day of the window draws closer.

The market in England was shut on Thursday, August, 9, while other windows in Europe will close on Friday, August 31.

1. Danny Ings (Liverpool to Southampton) loan

The England international has been plagued with serious knee injury problems with Liverpool since he joined them in 2015 as he paved way to join Southampton.

2. Andres Gomes (Barcelona to Everton) loan

The Portugal international missed out in Fernando Sanchez's side that played at World Cup in Russia after failing to nail a starting shirt with Barcelona. Gomes is now on loan with Everton to revive his career.

3. Yerry Mina (Barcelona to Everton) £28.5m

Mina was a sensation at the World Cup with Colombia scoring three goals but prior to his move to Goodison Park he still played second fiddle to Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti at Camp Nou.

4. Carlos Sanchez (Fiorentina to West Ham) undisclosed

The defensive midfielder makes a return to the Premier League after featuring for Aston Villa before leaving for La Liga. His performances at the World Cup for Colombia earned him a place in the brand new Manuel Pellegrini's West Ham.

5. Bernard (Shakhtar Donestsk to Everton) free

The Brazilian attacker sealed a move to the Merseyside on free from Ukraine and is set to play in one of the best leagues in the world.

6. Lucas Perez ( Arsenal to West Ham) undisclosed

The Spanish striker spent a season-long loan with his former club Deportivo La Caruna after failing to cement a place in Arsene Wenger's team before he left as manager of Arsenal.

The 29-year-old will be hoping to get his dwindling career back on track with West Ham under the tutelage of Pellegrini.

7. Mateo Kovacic (Real Madrid to Chelsea) loan

The Croatian midfielder feels he can do better in Maurizio Sarri's squad at Stamford Bridge but was unable to displace the talented pair of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos at Real Madrid.

10. Calum Chambers (Arsenal to Fulham) loan

The young defender has been required surplus to requirements following the signing of Stefan Litchsteiner by new coach Unai Emery.

But a loan move to newly promoted Fulham could be made permanent in in the summer of 2019.

11. Joe Hart (Manchester City to Burnley) £3.5m

Finally the former England number one gets a permanent deal with Sean Dyche's Burnley after loan spells with Torino and West Ham.

The 31-year-old shot-stopper will be hoping to make his way back to Gareth Soutrhgate's side after he was left out of the World cup team.

12. Aleix Vidal (Barcelona to Sevilla) £9.5m

After lengthy spells on the sidelines, Aleix Vidal was been unable to break into Ernersto Valverde's side last term.

In addition, the brilliant performances from Sergi Roberto and Nelson Semedo at right-back has kept Vidal out Valverde's plans for the coming season.

13. Arturo Vidal (Bayern Munich to Barcelona) £18m

Barcelona made another decent deal with the signing of Vidal from Bayern as the Spanish club are preparing to make a big statement in the Champions League next season.

14. Nikolai Kilanic (AC Milan to Atletico Madrid) £13m

Despite his early expulsion from the Croatian team at the World Cup, the center forward has made his way into Diego Simeone side for their new campaign at the Wanda Metropolitano.

15. Moses Simon (Gent to Levante) undisclosed'

The Super Eagles winger's prayer has finally been answered as he makes a summer move a more competitive side in La Liga, Levante.

The 23-year-old could not make it with Gernot Rohr's side to the World Cup because he did not make full recovery for the competition.
