The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted thunderstorms and rainfall over most parts of the country for Saturday, August 11.
NiMet made this known in its Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office in Abuja on Friday, August 10.
It predicted thunderstorms and rains over Gusua, Katsina and environs while other places remain in the northern parts would be cloudy during the morning hours.

The agency said localised thunderstorms would be expected over the entire region with day and night temperature to be in the ranges of 28 – 32 degree celsius and 22 – 24 degree celsius respectively.
NiMet envisaged thunderstorms and rains over Minna and Ilorin during the morning hours.
It predicted thunderstorms and rains over Jos, Kaduna, Abuja and environs while other places in the central parts would remain cloudy during the afternoon and evening hours.
The agency said that day and night temperature the region would be in the range of 27 – 32 degree celsius and 22 – 23 degree celsius respectively.
According to the prediction, cloudy morning is anticipated in southern parts with exception of Lagos, Saki and Iseyin where moderate rains are expected in the morning hours.

“Later in the day, there are prospects of rains over the inland cities and coastal axis with day and night temperature expected to be in the range of 28- 31 degree celsius and 19 – 23 degree celsius respectively,” NiMet predicted.
