Ex-Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic suggests he would have become US president now if he had moved to LA Galaxy ten years ago, according to a UK Sun report.
The former Sweden international completed a switch from the Premier League to the Major Soccer League in March this year, making a surprising statement as he reacted on his impact on football in America.
Zlatan netted a brace, including the winning strike, in his first game for the Galaxy in 'El Trafico' against rivals LAFC.

Previously, the 36-year-old forward, who had likened himself to both a lion and God, cautioned reporters of how well his influence could go with Galaxy after 12 goals in his first 15 matches.
Responding if he had brought any change to America’s football culture since his arrival, he said: "I don't know if I changed it, I just keep doing my job.
"They are lucky I did not come ten years ago - because I would be president today!"
Interestingly, if the Swede nursed any ambition to step into the White House as president someday, that quest would remain a dream because the constitution of the United States of America foreign nationals to vie for the post of president.
Zlatan was born in Malmo, Sweden, to a Bosnian dad and Croat mum, one of whom would have had to have been born in the United States for him to stand any chance of becoming leader of the free world.
During an interview with CNN in 2016, before Donald Trump came to power, the forward was asked to finish the sentence: "Donald Trump is..."
The Swede replied. "I don't care."
The forward switched to Los Angeles earlier this year after ending his deal at Manchester United.
After netting 28 goals in his first season at Old Trafford, Ibrahimovic made just seven appearances in all competitions the second time around, after playing second fiddle to £75m-rated new forward Romelu Lukaku.

After his decent show during his first Galaxy game against LAFC, he submitted: "I heard the crowd saying 'we want Zlatan, we want Zlatan'.
"So I gave them Zlatan."
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he offered to play for Manchester United for free on his return from his knee injury.
The former Sweden striker joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2016 but left to join the Major League Soccer side in the middle of 2017-18 season due to limited playing time.
During his stay at Old Trafford, he scored 28 goals in all appearances for Jose Mourinho's side before suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury against Anderlecht in the Europa League quarter-final.
