Serie A side Roma are plotting a summer transfer move for Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech to replace ex goalie Alisson.
According to a UK Sun report, the Italian outfit are eager to find a new goalkeeper following Alisson’s £67million world record switch to Liverpool last week.
Roma’s sporting director Monchi insists an older shot-stopper is the preferred option to enable him brings his wealth of experience to the team’s young defence.

The 36-year-old Cech is expected to face stiff opposition for the No. 1 spot at Arsenal following the arrival of Bernd Leno for £22m from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen this transfer season.
The Stamford Bridge side are reportedly plotting a surprise shock bid for the shot-stopper they offloaded to Arsenal in 2015, if they fail to keep Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois who is linked with a summer switch to the Los Blancos.
The report further revealed that Cech has already rejected a similar deal to switch base to Napoli earlier this summer.
On the other hand, the former Chelsea goalkeeper seems ready to fight for his place at the Gunners set-up despite Leno's addition.
Cech was spotted at a training session looking like added some weight during the recent vacation at the end of last season.
The experienced goalkeeper could still make an emotional return to Chelsea despite claims by his agent Viktor Kolar saying that he is concentrating on Arsenal.

"It is always busy during every transfer window around Petr Cech, as a great Premier League person. However, he maximally focuses on the new season at Arsenal, no specific offer is available,” Kolar was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Arsenal are reportedly ready to cash in on Super Eagles winger Alex Iwobi this summer.
According to a UK Daily Star report citing sources in Italy, the Emirates dwellers are willing to sell Alex Iwobi for £22.3m (€25m) as new suitors from the Serie A are in need of the Nigerian international.
Italy’s Il Messaggero reports, Iwobi is attracting a potential deal from Lazio, who are eager to replace Felipe Anderson who recently joined West Ham.
