President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, July 17, took a tour of the Port of Rotterdam and Shell Pernis Refinery in the Netherlands.
The president during the tour was in the company of the managing director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Hadiza Bala-Usman; the Plateau and Ondo state governors, Simon Lalong and Rotimi Akeredolu.
Also, the president and his team met with the chief executive officer of Port of Rotterdam Allard Castelein during his tour.

President Buhari had visited the Netherlands on Sunday, July 15, to highlight his administration’s campaign against corruption.

The president was also hosted to a dinner by Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji, the president of the International Criminal Court who is Nigerian.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that the prime minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, promised to support the Nigeria in its fight against terrorism.

In a statement, Femi Adesina, a presidential aide on media and publicity said President Buhari met with Dutch prime minister on Monday, July 16 at the Hague.
Adesina said the two leaders discussed issues surrounding the fight against insurgency in the northeast, climate change particularly the shrinkage of Lake Chad, fight against corruption among others.
