Chelsea’s play-maker Eden Hazard has been urged to quit the Stamford Bridge outfit for Real Madrid this summer by his coach at the national team Roberto Martinez.
According to the UK Mirror report citing sources in Spain, the Belgium international is in the middle of a big-money controversy last weekend after revealing that he is set to reject a £300,000-a-week new deal to quit the West London side.
Belgium’s head coach Roberto Martinez has now advised the midfielder on the need to leave Chelsea and join Los Blancos who have been repeatedly linked with the player as they are eager to replace Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo after his switch to Serie A champions Juventus.

“Players need new challenges and new projects. Perhaps it’s a good time for Chelsea and for Eden to split. I would be very surprised if Chelsea didn’t have big offers for him right now,” Martinez was quoted as saying.
However, eggheads of the Stamford Bridge are optimistic that neither the Los Blancos nor Camp Nou dwellers will meet their £200million valuation of their prize asset, who still has 24-months left on his present deal with Chelsea.
“It could be the best time [for Hazard] to try something different.
“He is a player who has maturity and a lot of leadership. His play is based on talent.
“Hazard could carry a new project anywhere in the world. He is at the best moment of his career. He could fit in any team in the world,” Martinez was quoted as saying by Spanish radio show Cadena Ser’s ‘El Larguero’.
On the other hand, Chelsea’s new boss Maurizio Sarri is already working towards bringing in his own players’ even though he welcomes the club’s idea that Hazard remains an important team player that the Chelsea team should be built around going forward.
With 21 days left on the current window before the new campaign, Chelsea are not ready to lose the services of the playmaker who had a decent World Cup kin Russia.
Interestingly, after Belgium’s win over England’s Three Lions in the bronze medal final match at the World Cup last Saturday, the 27-year-old Chelsea midfielder admitted he was considering his future.
Hazard had earlier stressed before the commencement of the global football fiesta that he would decide based on Chelsea’s ambition in the summer transfers.
“I will go on holiday and ask myself the right questions.

“After six wonderful years at Chelsea, it might be time to discover something different. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision - if they want to let me go,” Hazard submitted.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Chelsea have placed a £200 million world record price tag on Eden Hazard as they prepare for a possible switch to La Liga side Real Madrid this summer.
According to the UK Sun report, citing sources at the Times, the Chelsea playmaker made it clear he will join the Galaticos after Belgium’s World Cup exit at the hands France’s Les Bleus.
The Los Blancos want to sign a new Galactico after allowing Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo leave for Serie A side Juventus in a £99m deal.
