- Javier Mascherano labels the Super eagles as a disorganized team

- The Argentine says he has played against Nigeria side a couple of times

- Both teams will collide in their last fixture in Group D on June, 26

Argentina defender Javier Mascherano has stated that the Super Eagles are a 'disorganized' side ahead of the Russia World Cup.

Nigeria have lost all three matches against the South American power house in the 1994, 2002, and 2010 World Cups respectively.

Gernot Rohr's side defeated the Seleccion in an international friendly last November by 4-2 and the former Barcelona star featured in that match.

When asked about the quality of teams Argentina will face in Group D, Mascherano said that the Nigerian team have a way of making other teams play to their style.

"Nigeria are quite well known to us, we’ve always met in the last World Cups.

"They’re tough, not just because of their physical power, but because their disorganisation has the effect of disorganizing you as a rival.

"And that’s when teams like ours suffer the most – in disorder," Mascherano told Guardian.

Mikel Obi will lead the Green and White in their last crucial Group D match on June, 26, against Lionel Messi and his teammate.

The three-time African champions have played five friendlies this year against Poland, Serbia, DR Congo, England, and the Czech Republic but have only managed to win against the Robert Lewandowski led side.

On the other hand, Argentina have played three, winning 2-0 against Italy, losing 6-1 heavily Spain, and a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Haiti.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Nigerian fans blasted the Super Eagles after losing 1-0 to the Czech Republic in their last warm up match before the World Cup.
