Super Eagles camp filled to brim as stars turn up in style to first training session (photo, video)

- The Super Eagles of Nigeria have kicked off their training session in Uyo

- It was confirmed via a tweet on the official Twitter handle of the Eagles

- Nigeria will be playing their first friendly match with DR Congo on Monday May 28 at Port Harcourt

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have kicked off their training session in Uyo as they hope for a successful World Cup outing in Russia.

All selected Super Eagles players for the World Cup did not feature in Nigeria's friendly match with Atletico Madrid as they sat out the clash due to the standard FIFA rest period ahead of the World Cup.

The Super Eagles took to their official Twitter handle to confirm the commencement of the Eagles training while announcing that they session will be open to journalists.

As at this morning, May 23, the players that have resume in the Eagles camp in Uyo are Ezenwa, Akpeyi, Uzoho, Ajiboye, Ekong, Aina, Echiejile, Ebuehi, Eze, Lokosa, Onazi, Omeruo, Ndidi, Iheanacho, Iwobi, Awaziem, Etebo, Idowu, Joel Obi, Agu, Balogun, Simy Nwankwo, Ighalo, Agbo and Simon.

The Eagles will be playing their first friendly match with DR Congo on Monday May 28 at Port Harcourt.

NAIJ.com previously reported that Nigerians from all works of life have taken to popular social media platform Twitter to react to the homebase Eagles 2 - 3 defeat to Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid in Uyo.
