Felix Omobude, the president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) expressed his views on the issue of insecurity in the country, the factors that influence it, the presidency is playing to curb and how all of this affect the polity.
In a review interview conducted by Punch, Omobude said that the organisation is calling on the federal government to take the state of security critically since the Boko Haram insurgency seems to have overwhelmed the military, Vanguard reports.

He objected to the view that the terrorists in the country are foreigners, stating also that the terrorism in Nigeria is not entirely political.
Omobude said: "You cannot rule out politics but when a pastor is killed in Odighi (Edo State) and we know it, would you say that it is politics. When a bomb explodes in a market, would you say that it is politics?
People should not think that Nigerians do not know what they are doing. We have a problem at hand. We should face it and solve it."
The case of Leah Sharibu has become a very troubling situation because if those who abducted her did not say why they kept her back, one would understand.
But they said very clearly that they were keeping her because she refused to renounce her faith and this is one of the reasons there is mistrust on the part of one side of the Nigerian society than the other.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com reported that Leah Sharibu, the remaining Dapchi school girl still in Boko Haram captivity on Monday May 14, marked her 15th birthday in the custody of her captors.
NAIJ.com gathered that after almost two months since the Nigerian government negotiated the release of the 105 abducted Dapchi girls, the victim who would have been the 106th girl to be freed, was left behind for reportedly refusing to denounce her Christian faith.
