As the battle between Ovie Omo-Agege and some of his colleagues at the Senate continues to linger, the senator representing a district in Delta state, showed up at the National Assembly on Wednesday, May 16, for the day’s plenary.
Omo-Agege, who recently won a court case against the Senate for allegedly suspending him, had earlier promised to be at the sitting for Tuesday, May 15. He was, however, absent and no reason was given for this.
Daily Sun reports that the senator, who is expected to face a joint ad-hoc committee with his colleague, Ali Ndume, came to the upper chamber on Wednesday, May 16, and proceeded to his office.
