- Fellaini is considering staying at Old Trafford beyond this season

- The 30-year-old was expected to leave the club at the end of this season due to lack of enough playing time

- However, he has taken his mansion, which was listed for sale earlier this year off the market, hinting that he might remain at the club next season

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has reported hinted that he might be staying at Old Trafford next season.

The Belgium international, who has been linked with a move away from the club this season, has taken his mansion worth £2.3million off the market according to the Sun.

It is not sure what the 30-year-old was told to have him reverse his decision of dumping United this summer, but this development shows he might be staying beyond this season.

Fellaini considered joining a Turkish Super Lig side earlier this year due to his lack of enough playing time with the Red Devils – a speculation that made the former Everton ace list his six-bedroom mansion up for sale.

The house - formerly owned by 1966 World Cup winner Alan Ball - comes fully kitted out with swimming pool, home cinema and even its own barber shop.

With his house been taken off the market, it is an indication that the former Standard Liege player might stay at least beyond this summer at the club.

The midfielder has divided opinions amongst Manchester United fans since he joined them back in 2013 under former manager David Moyes.

He has since then featured for the Premier League outfit 155 times in all competitions, and was part of the team that win the Europa League title last summer.

But despite his many interventions for the club, he has not been able to win the fans fully to his side, meanwhile, Jose Mourinho has shown he has shown the midfielder is still important to his squad.

Fellaini has started most of the games this season from the bench due to his height and strength – one of which paid off against Arsenal in their Premier League encounter at Old Trafford earlier this month.

Prior to be being taken off the market, the estate agent blurb for the house read: "With a fabulous celebrity pedigree, this beautifully presented property has luxurious features.

"[They include] a leisure complex with heated indoor pool, home cinema room, adjacent detached guest annexe, open plan family living space, and it even has its own barber/hairdressing area."

Fellaini bought the house in February 2014 for £2m, before coming close to selling it in April 2017.

The house has remained on the market since - but has finally been taken down, with the United star now being tipped to stay at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, the Belgian attacker got off his senior career off at Standard Liege in 2006 and in 2008, Everton signed him.

He spent five seasons at the Goodison Park before joining Manchester United in the summer of 2013, and he has one Europa League cup, one FA Cup, one EFL title and a Community Shield in his five year reign at Old Trafford.

NAIJ.com earlier reported that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was confident of keeping the tall Belgian midfielder at Old Trafford.

The 30-year-old scored an incredible winner for the Red Devils in their Premier League fixture against Arsenal earlier this month.
