The three goals scored meant they surpassed Chelsea's 2009-10 title-winning side as the team that have scored the most goals in a single season with 105. The Blues had found the net 103 times.
The victory meant Guardiola's side eclipsed the most wins in a campaign which was held by Antonio Conte's title-winning side of last season. City have reached 31 compared to the Blues' 30.
The three points also ensured they became the team with the most points in a single season with 97. That figure beats Chelsea's 2004-05 Premier League winners by two points.
