The United Christian Leaders Eagle Eyes Forum (UCLEEF) has asked Nigerians, irrespective of religious, ethnic and political inclinations to help rescue the country from politicians and political office holders who do not mean well for it.
The UCLEEF urged the citizens to wake up and save the country’s democracy since the power to do so and the right to make a choice of who leads them rest in their arms.

Reacting to the recent invasion of the Senate chambers by suspected thugs, who ended up stealing the mace of the upper legislative chamber, the Christian leaders said Nigeria needed office holders with vision and a mindset to make the nation great.
Recall that some protesters stormed the Senate chamber on Wednesday, April 18, and stole the mace. The protesters were said to be supporters of a suspended senator, Ovie Omo-Agege.
Leadership quoted a message signed by the forum’s chairman, Pastor Aminchi Habu, at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday, April 19, as assuring that prayers and fasting had commenced by both Christians and Muslims so that true leaders would emerge out of the many aspirants currently gunning for various positions.
“I indulge each and every citizen of this country to awake and save our dear nation. We all have the power, the right and the choice to make the right and wise decision so that Nigeria will be great again.
Nigeria needs a leader not a ruler; someone who is bold enough to see failure and turn it to success, not someone who will see failure and blame others for it. What Nigeria needs is a leader with vision and a mindset to make this nation great," Pastor Habu said.

NAIJ.com earlier reported that some Christian and Muslim clerics have embarked on a 30-day prayer and fasting to seek God’s intervention in the nation’s political sphere ahead of the 2019 general election.
Pastor Aminchi Habu, national chairman, United Christian Leaders Eagle Eyes Forum (UCLEEF) told newsmen in Abuja that the prayer and fasting was for God to help Nigerians make the right choice during elections.
The 30-day special prayer and fasting which started on April 16, would end on May 16. Habu said Nigeria needed a visionary leader with the mindset to make it great.
