Rico Swavey may have been evicted from the Big Brother Naija show but as a fact, he remains one of the most loved housemates that ever graced the show.

During the recently held live show, Rico Swavey was unfortunately, evicted from the BBNaija game. Being the first time to be up for eviction, most people were curious about how strong his fan base was.

However despite been one of the most admired housemates in the gamr, he was the least voted for and thus evicted from the race.

While in the house, he proved himself a ladies's man as with his cooking skills, diplomatic nature and comic nature. However, it is no news that Rico was unlucky with the ladies in the house as he kept 'shooting shots' and missing terribly.

Here are 8 interesting facts about Rico Swavey that would blow your mind:

1. His real name is Patrick Fakoya

Contrary to popular belief, Rico Swavey is not his real name but Patrick Fakoya. The reality star uses Rico as a stage name for his music career.

2. He is a trained lawyer

This may not be one of the easily predicted things about Rico Swavey. He is reportedly studied law from the private varsity, Babcock University, an institution located equidistant between Ibadan and Lagos.

3. He is 25-year-old

Due to his playful and humble nature in the house, not many wouls have guessed correctly his age. Rico Swavey was born in 1993. His exact day of birth however, is yet to be discovered.

4. He is an actor and a musician

Rico Swavey is popular for his role as Tobi in the TV drama series, Life 101. He is also a budding singer who recently released a new song called Afrosantana. He also has a number of hip hop and ‘alternative’ tracks to his credit.

5. He comes from a large family

Rico comes from a relatively big family. He is said to have about 7 siblings

6. He entered the show to help his brother and to invest in his music career

When he first got into the Big Brother House, Rico Swavey revealed his intentions for the cash price of N45m if he emerged as the winner. According to him, investing in his music and also helping his brother who has autism, were his top priority.

7. He plans to open a restaurant some day

Due to his love for cooking, this comes as no surprise. When he was brought on stage after his eviction, Ebuka asked him about his intentions to start up a food business in the future since he was more or less the chef in the BBNaija house. Rico then revealed that perhaps, some day he may open up a restaurant.

8. He is biracial

Although his mother's nationality is yet to be discovered, she is however not Nigerian. A photo of her was put up on his official Instagram page to celebrate her on her birthday.
