In 2017, Wizkid and Davido were involved in a drawn out battle for supremacy in the Nigerian music industry. Although both stars did not directly call out each other, it was well known that they were at loggerheads.
By December of the same year, both stars had made up with each other and Davido even performed at Wizkid’s concert in that month. Starboy also returned the favour at OBO’s event too.
Wizkid recently granted an interview where he explained how he got Davido to perform at his event. Referring to him as his brother, he said he just called him up and everything worked out.

He also said anyone who knows him recognizes the fact that he is a peace loving person who doesn’t have time to beef anybody. “I just called him and we made it happen. It’s not a big deal. I just sent him a message. It’s all hype, that’s not real stuff”, he told Hip TV.
