The senator representing Kaduna central, Shehu Sani, on Tuesday, March 6, told the President of Liberia, George Weah, not to ask or expect miracles from the Nigerian government.
The Kaduna state senator in a tweet said: "Dear Weah, don’t ask us for miracles and don’t expect miracles from our temple; consult thy home temple and thy home oracles for miracles.We don’t have excess miracles for exports."
Liberian President George Weah had on Monday, March 5, visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja and appealed to Nigeria to come to the rescue of Liberia's economy.
President Weah said though Liberians had voted for change by electing him as president, mere political change is meaningless without development, growth and prosperity, Daily Trust reports.
He said his administration needs Nigeria’s help to achieve its set objectives.
