Representing Isoko federal constituency of Delta state on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ogor’s role in rallying the party's lawmakers against the activities of the All Progressives Congress (APC), brought the current Speaker, Yakubu Dogara to office in 2015.
However, the absence of the lawmaker from the House to a great extent has downplayed the role of the PDP.
While on his way into the green chamber on Thursday, February 8, Ogor was received by his colleagues across party lines with a rousing welcome and applause.
