- It claimed that the community has benefited so much from Ngige it is willing to ay back by supporting the president
The Ifitedunu community in Dunokofia local government area of Anambra state has vowed to give hundred percent of its votes to President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
The community, which also promised to buy a reelection form for the resident claimed it would do this as a way to thank Dr Chris Ngige for his dedication to the development of the community.

The Punch reports that the traditional ruler of the community and the president general of the town, Igwe Emeka Ilounoh and Samuel Nweke made this statement in separate speeches during the groundbreaking for the construction of the Federal Specialist Skills Acquisition centre in Ifitedunu by Ngige.
The community, which praises Ngige for building major roads and other infrastructure in the state during his tenure as governor said their support for President Buhari is a payback for Ngige's efforts in developing Ifitedunu.
The traditional ruler said: “2019 will be payback time for this our great son and friend , Dr Chris Ngige, for all he had done for us as a governor, senator and minister of the federal Republic of Nigeria. We will give President Muhammadu Buhari 100 per cent of our votes in the election because of Dr Ngige.”

NAIJ.com previously reported that the president of Southeast Elders Forum, and former president-general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr. Dozie Ikedife, has said the Igbos have no stake in the 2019 general elections.
He urged people from the southeast zone to be more like spectators in the forthcoming elections.
Ikedife said the All Progressives Congress (APC) came with a lot of promises and Nigerians had lots of expectations from the party.
