He stated: “Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind.”
He continued: “Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look.
“Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans.”
The US president further claimed that Bannon, who engineered his link to the nationalist far-right, was “only in it for himself.”

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that Paddy Power, a gambling website based in Ireland, predicted that it is highly unlikely that US President Donald Trump would make it through his first term in office without getting impeached.
According to odd-makers at the site, it is nearly twice as likely that Trump will be impeached, as it is that he will serve four years in office.
Going by the odds on Paddy Power, it is currently 4/7 that Trump would be impeached before inauguration day in 2021.
