Nigerian Twitter has gone haywire over a recent prayer made by the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God worldwide, Pastor E. A. Adeboye.
The prayer which got the attention of lots of Twitter users, especially Nigerian celebrities, was made during the ongoing holy ghost congress at the church's headquarters in Ogun state.

The prayer says: "Any relative or anyone blocking your way, if they don't repent, they won't see the new year."
While many think this prayer should not be said by christian as it is not Christ-like, many do feel it is a wrong prayer.

Nigerian celebs like Uti, Daddy freeze and Eldee have reacted to the prayer, arguing against why a man of God like Pastor Adeboye should pray that kind of prayer, even when the bible says one should pray for one's enemies.
