Nigerian army joins top 30 military websites globally (full list)

The Feedspot collated a list of the best military blogs from thousands of top military blogs in their index using search and social metrics and came up with a list of the top 60 military websites in the world.

From that list, NAIJ.com has collated a list of the top 30 in the world. The Nigerian military official website is featured among the top 30.

This is quite impressive and the military tweeted this from their official Twitter page:

This website contains daily updates of everything that you need know about what is going on in the military community and abroad including military gear and equipment, breaking news, international news and more.

2. Militarytimes.com

Military Times is published by Sightline Media Group. Military Times provides Military News, pay, benefits, photos, videos, discussions, blogs.

Military Times also offers a variety of special reports throughout the year, including valuable military resource guides and important second career and educational supplements.

3. Reddit - Military

The largest military news, articles and updates from around the world on Reddit with about 175 posts per week.

4. Defence-blog.com

Defence blog is a source of international defense, military and strategic news and information. It emphasizes on the people, the issues, the events and the technologies that drive tomorrow’s response.

5. DoDLive - Department of Defense Blog

The Department of Defense Social Media team was created to facilitate DoD’s participation in online and social media communications.

6. GOV.UK - Ministry of Defence

With a frequency of about 19 posts per week, this is the website of the ministry of defence of the UK.

Their aim is to ensure that the armed forces have the training, equipment and support necessary for their work, and keep within the budget.

Also, NAIJ.com earlier reported that the Nigerian Army on Wednesday, August 16, began a human rights workshop in Monguno community of Borno state.

A statement signed the deputy director of Nigerian Army public relations, 8 Task Force Division Timothy Antigha said the workshop was organized by the Army's department of civil military affairs.

Antigha said the workshop is also expected to deepen troops understanding and appreciation of human rights issues.
